Visit an upcoming meeting of the Concord Art Association and consider becoming a member! The CAA is a nonprofit group that works to support artists and bring art to our community through education, exhibits and events. Founded in 1963, CAA is the oldest art association in Contra Costa County. Members are artists, supporters of the arts and residents of the greater Concord, California area.
CAA meetings are open to the public and held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Concord Public Library. In addition to socializing and networking, we enjoy inspiring demonstrations from guest artists at each meeting.

Another great group that I'm a proud member of is the Concord Community of Artists. It is a multi-discipline collective of artists and creatives who come together to increase exposure for the arts in and around Concord, California. Any creative type living in or near Concord is welcome to join our Meetup group and/or our Facebook group to connect and stay informed about upcoming meetings and events.
